Length, volume, or both — extensions should look like your hair on its best day, not like extensions. At MG Hair Studios in Coral Gables, every set starts with a consultation: your hair’s health, your lifestyle, and the result you actually want decide the method — never the other way around.
Methods we offer
Tape-in extensions (fast application, flat and comfortable, reusable hair with proper maintenance) and the butterfly technique — the specialty of Yuliet, our extensions specialist, known for seamless, natural-looking placement. Ask for Yuliet.
What to expect
Consultation and color match → application appointment → at-home care plan → move-up appointments every 6–8 weeks to keep the set invisible and your natural hair healthy. Care note: sulfate-free washing and Davines Nounou for processed hair keep both your hair and the set in condition (shop online).
Honest guidance
Extensions are a commitment of time and budget; pricing depends on hair length, amount, and method, so exact quotes happen at consultation — no surprises later. If your hair needs recovery first, we’ll tell you and build the plan.
Frequently asked questions
How long do tape-ins last?
The hair is reusable across several move-ups with proper care; each wear is about 6–8 weeks.
Do extensions damage natural hair?
Applied and removed correctly, no — which is why professional application and regular move-ups matter.
Can I color my extensions?
We color-match at consultation so the set blends from day one.
How long does application take?
Most tape-in sets take 1–2 hours after the consultation.
